Congratulations to second-year MA student Katie DiDomenico for two recent accomplishments. Katie was selected for a virtual summer internship with the National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C. She will be working as a curatorial intern with Dr. Marjorie Wieseman in the Department of Northern European Paintings. The stated goal of the project is “to research and interpret works from the NGA’s permanent collection of northern Renaissance and baroque painting with an eye toward developing narratives that incorporate global perspectives.” Katie was also accepted into the Ph.D. program at Washington University in St. Louis, where she will study global early modern art with Dr. Claudia Swan.
