Lauren Lovings-Gomez, a second-year MA student in Art History and Museum Studies, has been awarded the Eva L. Pancoast Memorial Fellowship! This fellowship will enable Lauren to travel to England this fall to view the “Pre-Raphaelite Sisters” exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery, as well as to visit additional institutions to examine other significant works by female Victorian artists. Through this fellowship, Lauren will be able to begin culminating research for a future dissertation on Victorian women artists who have been overlooked in the past and who require close scholarly attention.
