Students in Professor Erin Benay’s “Pressing Matters” Class Print Their Own Linocuts

Undergraduate and Graduate Students in Professor Erin Benay’s Pressing Matters: Prints, Power, Revolution class print their own linocuts at the midtown nonprofit Zygote Press.  The class is working in partnership with Zygote Press and the CMA’s new Community Arts Center to develop art-historically grounded, social-justice print projects for teens in the Latinx neighborhood of Clark-Fulton.  This project is supported by a Social and Racial Justice Grant from the Expanding Horizons Initiative at CWRU.
