Big congrats to Marina who passed her doctoral exams with flying colors! Marina will be spending next year at the American School of Classical Studies in Athens, Greece on the prestigious M. Alison Frantz Fellowship in Post-Classical Studies at the Gennadius Library. There, she will begin work on her dissertation that explores the images of the damned in monumental Byzantine and Old Slavic paintings.
