Lauren Lovings-Gomez won the 2019 Gunther Stamm Prize for her paper “Antiquity, Exoticism, and Nature in Gold Lotus and Dragonfly Comb with Cyprian Glass Fragment,” presented at the 36th Annual Graduate Student Symposium hosted by the Department of Art History at Florida State University. There are plans to include her article in the next volume of Athanor, the graduate-student journal published by the department each autumn, and the forthcoming issue will feature on its cover an image drawn from her paper.
