Professor Elina Gertsman is a finalist for the 2019 John S. Diekhoff Award for Distinguished Graduate Student Mentoring. The award recognizes outstanding contributions to the education of graduate students at CWRU through advising and mentoring. This is Professor Gertsman’s fourth nomination for the graduate mentoring (she was the finalist last year as well); in 2015, she was the winner of the Diekhoff Award for Graduate Teaching.
