Photographs in Ink Curated by Ben Levy Enjoying a Very Positive Reception

Photographs in InkĀ is in its final weeks at the Cleveland Museum of Art. Guest curated by CWRU doctoral candidate Benjamin Levy, the exhibition looks at the rich history behind the photographs that have filled our daily life for over a century. The works included in the show trace how photographs realized in printer’s ink were able to be disseminated to wider and wider audiences and how artists used those processes, aesthetics, and means of dissemination in their art. The thought-provoking show stems from Levy’s research and has enjoyed a very positive reception!
