Professor Gertsman kicked off her lecture series this year by delivering the 2nd Annual Forsyth Distinguished Lecture at the University of Michigan on September 16. It was an honor to be part of this extraordinary series — and a distinct pleasure to meet with the Department of Art History’ doctoral students, including our fabulous alumna Julia LaPlaca, who will be coming to Cleveland later in October to deliver a talk of her own!
