“Photographs in Ink” Curated by PhD candidate Benjamin Levy to Open at the CMA

We are eagerly awaiting Photographs in Ink curated by PhD candidate Benjamin Levy. The exhibition will be on view at the Cleveland Museum of Art from November 20 through April 2 in the Mark Schwartz and Bettina Katz Photography Gallery. Ben previews this exciting exploration of photomechanical images–photographs made in printer’s ink rather than in the darkroom by chemical means–in the current issue of Cleveland Art. This ubiquitous yet invisible story is told through recent acquisitions and rarely seen historical works from the CMA and loans from several local collections.
