Recent graduate Kali Steinberg started earlier this month as a curatorial assistant for the Picker Art Gallery at Colgate University. She received her MA from Case Western in 2021 and is thrilled to be back in an academic setting. In this position, she will provide key support for exhibition development, collections research, academic programs, and digital engagement initiatives. She looks forward to working with students and faculty from various backgrounds who bring interdisciplinary, progressive perspectives to art history.
Kali has a passion for global contemporary art and is particularly interested in the intersection of social justice and the art world. As a curatorial assistant, she intends to engage with pressing social justice issues, foster meaningful experiences with art for students and faculty, and develop inclusive exhibition programs that encourage critical thinking and open dialogue.
