Prof. Benay has been awarded a generous Faculty Research Grant from the Baker Nord Center for her innovative work with area non-profit Edwin’s Institute!  Edwin’s provides the recently incarcerated with job training in the culinary arts. During her sabbatical next semester, Prof. Benay will work with students at Edwin’s on an Art History & Public Humanities project aimed at bringing art historical education to this underserved population.
