Congratulations to alumna Christine Wolken, Associate Professor of Art History, who is a recipient of the 2019-2020 Cuyahoga Community College Excellence in Teaching Award in Honor of Ralph M. Besse. The award is given to faculty members who demonstrate exceptional professional competence and commitment to helping students succeed, a commitment to academic quality, stimulation of intellectual development, and investment with students within and beyond the classroom. The award is given in honor of Ralph M. Besse, Cleveland community leader and champion of higher education, who was instrumental in founding Tri-C. Christine earned her Ph.D. in Art History from Case Western Reserve University in 2012.
