Generous funding from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation has made possible two one-year Mellon Fellowships. These have been awarded to two doctoral students, Dominique (Nikki) DeLuca and Angelica Verduci. Nikki is slated to defend her dissertation, “Ab umbra ad umbram: Shadows in Late Medieval Secular Manuscripts,” in November of this year; she currently has an internship with Cyra Levenson, Director of Education and Academic Affairs at the Cleveland Museum of Art. Angie is an intern in the Prints and Drawings Department at the CMA; her research focus is on medieval macabre art. Congratulations, Nikki and Angie!
