Associate Professor Elina Gertsman wins the Dieckhoff Award for Distinguished Graduate Teaching

Sponsored by the Graduate Student Senate and School of Graduate Studies, the John S. Dieckhoff Award for Outstanding Graduate Teaching is awarded to two faculty members that have made exemplary contributions to graduate students through work in the classroom. Part of the prestige of this award is that the process by which winners are selected is run entirely by graduate students. The award consists of a plaque and honorarium presented at the University’s annual commencement convocation. Professor Gertsman was also honored at the Dieckhoff Award Reception, held during the Graduate Awards Ceremony on April 27.
