Elina Gertsman, Associate Professor in Medieval Art, received a Faculty Research Travel Grant from the Baker-Nord Center for the Humanities at CWRU. She used it this summer to travel to northern Europe in order to work at several libraries, museums, and archives, and finish research for her next monograph on empty spaces in late medieval art.
