About
We have been thrust into a new era of photographic arts with the popularization of digital photography. The principles of color capture and reproduction, however, remain surprisingly the same as they have been for generations. That being said, learning to be sensitive to and proficient in capturing color images digitally presents a unique set of challenges and opportunities for creative expression. I taught film based photography courses, both black and white and color, in The Art Studios, from 1973-1985. After a significant hiatus, I have returned (2010) to face the creative and technical challenges of the digital age with the students of CWRU.
